Please read this form over carefully and fill it out completely.  You are to bring this form with you to the parade line up.  The Parade will be held on Wednesday July 4th at 11:00a.m. Line up begins at 9:00a.m. at Heritage Park in Hanover. This year’s theme is "Courtesy of The Red White and Blue"

 

 

 

 Candy will not be allowed to be thrown from any float or any vehicles during the parade. It may be handed out by those walking the parade route.

Hanover~Horton 4th of July Celebration Parade
 
Wednesday July 4th, 2012.

Welcome to the 2012 Hanover~Horton 4th of July Parade.  Your participation is sincerely appreciated and we hope you have a great time.  WCSR 92.1 FM/1340AM will be announcing the parade from the park.  Make sure your entry description for the radio has been turned in.  Each group division will have a check in area see map on back.  And a signed Waiver Form will be required.  Trophies and Ribbons will be given prior to the start of the parade.

 

 

 

For your safety and the safety of other participants and the audience, please:

  1. Cooperate and follow the parade director and officials instructions.
  2. Maintain a pace compatible with the overall pace of the parade.
  3. Have vehicles and equipment in safe, reliable condition.
  4. No alcoholic beverage or illegal substance use before or during the parade.

Since or Parade will take place on a warm, sunny day, we encourage you to bring water bottles and wear sunscreen.

 

We will be lining up at the Hanover~ Horton Elementary School and at Heritage Park.  Both are located on

Tefft Street in Hanover.  Central Command post and Information will be at Heritage Park on
Tefft Street
.  Please note what group you are in and your staging area.

DE-STAGING will occur where you started.  Please do not stop or turn around until you have returned to your starting location.  Antique cars will need to go to the corner of Union and Allen Streets for display after the parade.
